tailiten TAI_ASME_UV_stampTAI Milano is now capable to supply Spring Loaded Safety Valves with ASME UV stamp in accordance with ASME VIII Div. 1.

We notify the Norwegian market of this as some clients have insisted on ASME UV stamp, although PED is the governing body in Europe. PED is requiring tests in actual backpressure conditions to arrive at a discharge coefficient, and is considered more conservative than ASME, which is testing at (only) atmospheric backpressure.

ASME VIII stamp for Pilot Operated Valves is in progress, and expected to be available from October 2010
